| Chris
Carnohan founded the Carnohan Law Offices in January,
1986 at the urging of his father, Mac Carnohan, who had
moved to West Texas during the Great Depression as a
GMAC "skipchaser." Chris was born in Colorado City,
Texas, two counties West of Abilene. He brought five
years of civil litigation experience to the new firm,
having practiced with Bowers, Cotten & Harland in
Lubbock after his graduation from the Texas Tech School
of Law, followed by a stint in Dallas with the Law
Offices of Windle Turley, PC. Kristen Carnohan, our
in-house CPA and Vice President of Operations and
Finance, has over twenty years of expertise in
accounting. Her top-notch organization skills result in
efficiency that naturally develops from a unified team
effort. She keeps the firm focused on thoroughness and
timeliness, which add up to client satisfaction and
confidence, along with client-pleasing results. Kristen
heads up an experienced staff that is ready, willing,
and able to diligently work claims in a state where the
laws are debtor-friendly, but where the Carnohan Law
